You can get paid for surveys that you take online! Many people are under the false impression that it is a myth that you can get paid for surveys. However, while it is possible to make money with surveys, you must be careful not to become the victim of an online survey fraud company. There are a few red flags that generally will alert you that an online survey company is not legitimate.

These notable alerts are as follows:

Red Flag #1

Check the location of the survey company. Most fraudulent websites that deal with surveys are located outside of the United States and these companies are not required to obey Americanized laws. Always be careful when considering working for an International survey company.

Red Flag #2

If a survey company wants you to do an unreasonable amount of “no pay” surveys before awarding you with paid surveys, then you may well be dealing with an illegitimate company. These companies will get you to do free surveys for them up to a specific number and then will never contact you for paid surveys after you have completed the free surveys.

Red Flag #3

If a survey company does not provide their contact details on their website then you can generally be sure they are a fraud-related website. Before registering with such a website consider sending an email to them if they do have a contact email address just to make sure it is valid.

You can get paid for surveys if you avoid the three warnings listed above. However, be aware that these are just a few of the most common red flags and are not a complete list.
